Transferring files

NoMachine must be used to transfer files to or from the JET Data Centre. Please refer to Accessing the JET Data Centre for instructions of how to access the JET Data Centre using NoMachine.

Sending files

Method one:

• Connect via NoMachine and select ‘Create a new virtual desktop’.

• Drag and drop a file from your computer to the virtual desktop.

Method two:

• Connect via NoMachine and select ‘Create a new virtual desktop’.

• Click the NoMachine icon on the top right corner of the virtual desktop.

• Go to the ‘Transfer a file’ tab.

• Select ‘Upload file from the client’.

• Use the file chooser to select a file to upload.

Receiving files

Method one:

• Connect via NoMachine and select ‘Create a new virtual desktop’.

• Drag and drop a file from the virtual desktop to your computer.

Method two:

• Connect via NoMachine and select ‘Create a new virtual desktop’.

• Click the NoMachine icon on the top right corner of the virtual desktop.

• Go to the ‘Transfer a file’ tab.

• Select ‘Download file from the server’.

• Use the file chooser to select a file to download.
